My sis from overseas is visiting and one of her bucket list is to pick apples from the orchard. So we went to Bilpin last Saturday which is a 2 hour-drive west of Sydney to pick not only apples red and green but also oranges and mandarin. Unfortunately, the oranges were not yet ready and the mandarin is in another location but I was happy enough to be able to come out of my normal Saturday routine.
I chose to wear red checkered jacket because it would look good next to the red apples hehe. This biker jacket I got from Zara is really warm and snug fit. And I have to wear black with the rest of my outfit to synchronise with the jacket.

I got this pompom beanie from my niece, how awesome is thatslenie. I carried my Michael Kors tote with me where I stored some of the apples 🙂
Have you tried eating an apple straight from the tree? They said it’s the freshest you can get but I didn’t try. But we wish we tried because we bought more red apples thinking it would be sweeter than the green. But turned out to be the other way around, this Granny Smith is sweeter than the Sundowner.
That’s how our day went but of course it didn’t end without eating and buying some goodies so on our way home we dropped by a café around the area that makes homemade apple pies which I must say the best one I’ve tasted for a long time.
