How to Style Bright Colour Block Outfit

Pink and orange outfit

I can’t believe I’ve been into a pink frenzy lately (aside from florals of course), from all pink in New Zealand to the pink and brown combo. Now, I’m into another pink match and this time with orange which is an unlikely pair but hey it works.

What to wear in Spring

I got this mini skirt with a colour block of orange and pink where every time I wore it I always get a compliment. It seems like a happy skirt for me as it attracts attention and smiles. I wore this exact outfit anywhere including to work when it’s sunny and warm.

When the weather warms up a bit so does my outfit preference; shorter lengths with bare legs and bright coloured trends. This time of the year it is nice to be outdoors and get a good dose of Vit D. Apart from enjoying the warm rays of the sun the blossoming flowers are also a delight to look at so there’s no reason to stay indoors.

When I get this skirt on, I prefer wearing everything else in light colours like my white tops and my Givenchy Antigona ice blue bag. My shoes are in a neutral shade of olive green to not clash with the striking skirt.

Also, I’ve been asked by a reader to show what’s in my bag so I finally got around to it and here it is. Nothing much to show but the essentials like my mobile phone, small perfume, sanitiser (germophobe here), Prada wallet & sunnies and my make-up purse. The purse contains a Chanel compact, MAC & Erie Perez lippies and Becca concealer. There are other little beauty products/accessories in it that every girl has but it’s just too much to show 🙂
