Trench Coat at Bare Island

What to wear on Spring in Australia

Do you have a favourite spot in your city that you want to visit over and over again? You bet, I do and this is the area that me and hubby would frequent.

What not to love about this place? It has everything, a beach, historical museum and fort, cafes and restaurants and a scenic coastline. Every corner is worthy of snapping and I discovered recently a fun way to take a pic overlooking the bridge and Bare Island Fort. I tell you, Instagram makes me see places in different perspective, we’ve been here so many times but I only tried taking a snap on top of this rock, how insane!

La Perouse is a south eastern suburb of Sydney but no matter how pretty this place is it is not so popular and crowded. Several scenes from Mission: Impossible 2 were filmed in La Perouse and Bare Island. There is a grassy park in the hill and tower that overlook Botany Bay, such a perfect place for children to run around and fly a kite.

My goddaughter was with me that time and she was my alternate photographer that day. We went down to the rocks and under the bridge, look at our pics from the distance taken by my hubby, so fun!

And what to wear when the temp is starting to warm up? This time I settled with a short trench coat in my favourite colour red, underneath I wore a nautical dress to go with the ocean vibes. Decided to wear brown ankle boots to match with the brown Proenza Schouler Hava bag.

Do you think you would love this place too?
