If you think the embellished trend is only glamorous at night time then think again :). Since this trend doesn’t seem to go away I might as well showcase it here in my blog. I’ve been sporting this trend unknowingly since I got this top. I’ve worn it to work, to church and on a casual day at a friend’s place. I’ve paired it with different bottoms though. Since the embellishment is only on the collar area it doesn’t appear too loud. Yet, still it has be coordinated with the right lower half and accessories.
The best way to wear an embellished top in my opinion is to pair it with a basic dark skirt or trousers. That way it doesn’t draw too much attention. Here I wore a striped wrap skirt and by throwing on a blazer I can be ready for a day at the office. Though I have to pair it with a dark pumps or close shoes to be more appropriate. I was going to a friend’s place when I had these photos taken, hence, the caged heels were acceptable 🙂
I’m not seen in this striking colour too often but it looks refreshing when I do. I chose gold accessories to go with it and my emerald studs, a woman can’t have too many accessories :).
