Where to get the best view of Niagara Falls

How is this for a view in your room? I would certainly do it again if given a chance. After 5 nights in New York, we flew from JFK to Buffalo airport and from there we had a shuttle ride straight to our hotel. We stayed in Embassy Suites by Hilton with a full view of Niagara Falls. We crossed the border and stayed in Canada side.

We slept for 3 nights and had a relaxing and wonderful time. There’s not much to do around the area as most activities are centred around the Falls. The first day was spent lounging in our suite and enjoying the spectacular view of the 3 falls, the Canadian Horseshoe, Bridal Veil and the American Falls.

On the second day we finally went out to see the real thing. In front of the hotel was the Incline Railway that took us all the way down to the Plaza. The Falls Incline Plaza is the tourist spot close to the Horseshoe Falls. We bought souvenirs in the Table Rock Centre and headed to the observation area right next to the Falls.

 I tell you, it was a fascinating experience at the highest level. We were so close to the biggest waterfalls in the world. The mist was all over us, it was like a never ending rainshower. We couldn’t stop laughing and taking pictures haha. We had to keep wiping the camera’s lens and our mobile phones.

If we did the ‘Journey Behind the Falls’ adventure we had to line up in the Table Rock centre for it but observing right next to the falls without paying anything was enough for us. We certainly had a blast, we didn’t even notice we lost the wiping cloth of the DLSR camera. But I did another awesome adventure the next day so please come back to my blog for it.
