How was your Christmas celebration? Mine was quiet as we went to Launceston, Tasmania for a week long holiday. We pretty much ate in cafes and restaurants including our Christmas lunch and dinner. I had so much fun with the boys discovering new and scenic places. I’m sorting the photos at the moment so I can start writing about them. But for the meantime I’m looking forward for the coming year.
That’s including planning what outfit to wear on New Year’s eve and New Year’s day parties if ever I will attend to one or two. And I can help giving outfit inspiration on what to wear for parties in general. I’ve been amused by tulle dresses and skirts though not really lately, since Carrie Bradshaw of SATC wore one. After that, it has evolved to many different forms and styles from short to long and from plain to layered. I’ve been loving the layered look with almost anything, tops or skirts or even dresses. Hence, this layered tulle dress came into sight.
This was shot at my niece’s apartment, don’t the soft furnishings in her flat look gorgeous? The place matches well with the colour of my dress and the transparent bag. This bag is trending at the moment, I can’t wait to use it more outside. This outfit is playful and more appropriate for a daytime parties and fun events.
Next up is this metallic bodycon number which is perfect for night parties because it just sparkles and glitters. I’ve had this midnight blue dress for awhile now and at times when I didn’t know what to wear I resorted to this one piece outfit. But I throw a jacket or coat over it on chilly nights. I mostly use little purses for night events and my Chanel flap is my preferred bag.
So that would be it, my last post for the year. Thank you all for standing by me, your support means a lot. Cheers for 2019, we’ll face it with hope, peace and renewed strength.
