I know I’m crazy about leopard print, I wore one on my past post but this time it’s a faux fur leopard print coat. It is quite affordable and on sale at the moment plus it is really warm and looks good so what’s not to love.
I wore it when we headed down south of Sydney on Mother’s Day weekend for a 2-night mini break. Yes, a month after we went to Victoria as seen on my previous posts we had another staycation. This time we only drove for 4 hours no flying involved. We’ve never been this far south yet so it was a discovery.
We stayed at Moruya Heads which was past Batemans Bay, such a quaint little town next to the sea. It also had a big river which was ideal for fishing where hubby was looking forward to do. He was so excited about it that he took his prime fishing gear and tools but was disappointed that day when he went fishing. More about it on my coming post where I’ll show the beach side.
As for me, I wanted to visit a site where autumn season was on full display. We passed by many streets with Autumn leaves happening but we just couldn’t stop to take photos of them. So I just admired in the distance but secretly hoping I would find something like it in the area where we were staying. I was surprised as soon as we entered the town of Moruya I saw this massive park with red and orange leaves next to the river. We went to Riverside Park the next day which was Mother’s Day and my little boy’s birthday as well. He loves parks and playgrounds so he was the happiest on his birthday.
Back to my coat, I paired it with black top and dark blue jeans to not clash with the print. The coat was a statement on its own so I kept it minimal anywhere else except for my loafers that had the same print. Matching coat and shoes are kind of fun and bold, maybe beyond this will be too much. My shoes were from an Aussie shoe brand called Shoes of Prey, they certainly made top quality footwear, too bad the company closed down last year.
Which leopard print would you want to add in your wardrobe a coat or shoes?
