I guess it’s wedding season all over the world, I can see heaps of summer wedding posts in social media. Even us here on our winter time we are not spared. I just attended a friend’s wedding 2 weeks ago and I have another invite in a couple of weeks. As a guest, it’s hard to plan what to wear and I have to admit attending a summer wedding is a lot easier than winter’s one.
I know I can wear a coat outside but I can’t predict how the air conditioning will go in the reception hall. If it’s still chilly inside, I don’t want to wear my coat and look frumpy. To be real, even as a guest you try to look best on your friend’s wedding, yea? Lucky, I found this long sleeve dress with web mesh and ruffles in the darkest of blue.
But first of all, know what is the dress code of the event and make sure to respect it. It was casual formal in our case so I was ecstatic to get this short dress with layers of ruffles for extra warmth. I like that it was kid’s friendly. There was even a photo booth with quirky props, how cool was that? Had so much fun with the whole family.
Let’s talk about my bag, it’s a vintage Chanel single flap with charms. I’m so glad I kept it since it has become rare and increased its value. I almost traded it at one point when I wanted the classic double flap. When I got both, I can see they’re completely different. While the double flap is elegant this one with charms is more fun and very light to carry, so it’s still a win-win. And that’s Chanel for you, my thoughts if you’re eyeing on a Chanel purse that looks rare in great condition with a reasonable price tag just snag it and think of it as an investment while using and flaunting it.
