Not many dresses you can show a lot of creativity than with a maxi dress. It can be worn on its own, with a belt, under a jacket, a cardigan, blazer or even a vest. It can be dressed down for a beach outing, a backyard bbq or dressed up to a wedding or any formal event depending on how you accessorised it and the actual cut and fabric itself of the dress.
I like the versatility of a maxi dress where I can play the look that I want whether it’s bohemian, a girly girl or a casual street chick. The print and style of the dress mostly suggest which vibe I can project. This ruffled maxi dress in peach orange colour has a playful and fun accents that I wanted to wear on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I kept the dress from skimming the ground with the help of a pair of wedge-heel platforms and it made me instantly looked so tall, wheey! To maintain the warm look of the outfit, I carried my round straw woven bag.
I was happy to catch these wisteria flowers bloom somewhere in my neighbourhood in this quaint cottage that always looks rustic and inviting especially during Spring. I actually was in the hunt for wisteria plants and I found another one, maybe I’ll go there for my next OOTD photoshoot before they wither and fall off.
As for this orange maxi dress, I added it to my orange outfit collection where this colour is one of the hottest this year. But I’m just happy to have another maxi dress which is super comfortable and easy to pull on and go.
