Summer Lovin’

Can you believe I had the Bondi Beach almost to myself and during day time too. I can’t believe it either although not entirely to myself, at least within a certain proximity. This beach is super popular that you can hardly move in the summer months. So hard to get a clear picture without anybody photobombing or blocking the aim.

One Saturday morning before Christmas it was raining that I thought of cancelling our beach spree but had nothing else to do so we just went ahead. By 10am the rain stopped and when we reached the beach at 11 we had the perfect weather minus the crowd.

I’ve been waiting for a great opportunity to shoot these swimwear and straw bag ever since I received them from Rosegal and it’s worth the wait. We had so much fun in the uncrowded beach and my nephew who was visiting from the Philippines did an amazing job, his beach shots were candid and natural. I just love the vibe of this ruffle one piece as it looks very summery and retro.

Isn’t this straw bag with tassels adorable? It can hold a lot of stuff too, these thick round beach towel, water bottle and other beach essentials easily fitted in. To stay in a yellow beachy trend, I wore this floral wrap dress afterwards when we’re wrapping up and heading out for brunch.

The picture above looks iconic, this orange dinghy is the symbol of Bondi Surf Rescue. The artworks along the Sea Wall are a mix of street and contemporary art and are constantly changing. Bondi is also known for its strong coffee scene, the presence of hip cafes is a pride of this suburb itself.

We went to Vida café where I had no trouble ordering what I wanted, too bad most of us had the same thing in mind 🙂 If you intend to visit Sydney, make sure to drop by Bondi to see what this awesome place could offer.
