Faux Fur Coat at the Blue Mountains

What to wear to Blue Mountains

It looks like I’m doing a yearly visit to the Blue Mountains each winter for a few years now. It’s a bucket list for most overseas visitors who come to Australia of which I’m happy to compel taking relatives and friends to this nature trip.

The Blue Mountains is only 1.5 hours drive west of Sydney and is a popular tourist destination. It is densely populated by oil bearing eucalyptus trees making the atmosphere filled with dispersed droplets of oil which in combination with dust particles and water vapour produced rays of light that are predominantly blue in colour. Can you imagine how many thousands of koalas who only eat a certain kind of eucalyptus tree live here?

One of the most popular attractions in this region is The Three Sisters which are pillars of rocks with an unusual formation. It’s situated next to Jamison Valley where both can be best viewed from the Echo Point lookout.

I find faux fur coat so warm and glam to wear at winter time. I’m glad I finally wore this zig zag fur coat, been waiting for the right time as our winter down under is lame, nothing in compare to the winter chill in northern hemisphere. Having said that, there’s a time for everything and that was the right time to put on this coat. I paired it with tight brown pants to balance the volume while staying in the same colour theme. I finished the look with a light brown ugg boots and red Alexander Wang Lia bag for that pop of colour.
