One summer day, my sis and I decided to explore the Blue Mountains and search for waterfalls and the first thing came to my mind was what to wear. I needed something that is comfortable, breathable at the same time cute looking.
That’s when I came up with the Athleisure trend, I haven’t done this yet here in my blog so that would be the perfect time. After those binge eating from the holidays I didn’t really plan to wear tight fitting clothes but this activity called for it, who cares about the extra flabs.
We were literally chasing waterfalls as we didn’t know the exact location of Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains. So we just headed to the lookout of the falls and followed the signs. It took us a good 30 minutes going down from the lookout, my brother-in-law and nephew went too which became handy since they’re the ones who alternatively carried my toddler. Can you imagine without them, how hard my life would be? Wentworth Falls has many levels, we only stayed in the top area called Queen’s Cascades falls because that would take another arduous 1 hour to go down to get to the bottom of the falls.
Most families with small children or elderly preferred to stay in the lookout and have a picnic in the grassy area. It has a magnificent views of the Jamison Valley and the top of the Wentworth Falls.
I settled for a crop top with marble print and black leggings with mesh for an easy and comfortable climb. It ended up being a perfect choice since I was able to touch the water, played with my toddler, got wet, dried naturally and went home without changing clothes.
When was the last time you have gone outdoors, be one with nature and be surprised of what you’ve discovered?
