We’re maybe entering the first week of winter but my heart is left in Autumn, indeed I have here my last post with Autumn trees we shot a week ago. Because our cold weather came late, hence the reason why we still have these Autumn leaves holding on and giving brilliant colours in our streets.
This road trip was pretty spontaneous as we only intended to go to the Blue Mountains for a cliff adventure. After clinging on some cliffs (literally, watch my upcoming post for it) my niece suggested to go to Anonymous café for a warm drink and yummy brunch. I swear it’s my first time to hear about this café and I wished that time that it should’ve remained anonymous because it took us so long to find it. We finally got there and I tell you it’s the farthest I’ve been in that direction.
We arrived in a little town called Blackheath which is way past Katoomba where the famous Three Sisters are. I couldn’t believe that even in this far flung town we couldn’t find parking in the main street so we had to go to the back streets. And yes, lo and behold I saw the whole side street turned into orange, red and brown. I couldn’t whinge anymore why we did we have to go there, such a perfect spot for my black jumpsuit and brown and red kimono.
My niece gave me this kimono for Mother’s Day and straight away I wanted to wear it with the autumn leaves scenery. The rich hues of red and burgundy are perfect to pair with black, hence this jumpsuit. I needed to use a mini crossbody bag to help streamline the look so I picked this Prada wallet on chain which didn’t store anything much but my mobile phone. I finished it with these sleek cat-eye sunnies.
So what did we have for lunch at Anonymous café? Anonymous mixed plate of cheeses, cold cuts and compote. Doesn’t look much but it’s quite filling and the French toast was not bad either.
